Thank you for your interest in LNC Cheerleading! Our teams for the 2020-2021 season will be named in May. We hope to see you for our team selection. We have made such great progress with our teams and we look forward to continuing to grow strong cheerleaders on and off the field/court. If you are a transfer student just entering the LNC Community you may still be eligible to try-out. Please contact us at [email protected] to check the NCHSAA Eligibility Criteria, if interested.
2020-2021 Try Outs
This page is designed to help you understand the expectations and commitment associated with LNC Cheerleading. We ask that parents and cheerleading candidates read this thoroughly together.
Tryout Overview and Team Eligibility
We look forward to try-outs and continuing our tradition of excellence. With the extenuating circumstances that this year brings, we will be conducting Virtual Try-outs for the 2020-2021 season that we can begin working and adequately planning for the upcoming season.
Please see the below for the LNC Eligibility Guidelines. Please note academic eligibility to participate for Summer and Fall 2020 Cheerleading will be based off of the 2nd Semester Report Card in Spring 2020. With the timing of our tryout, an athlete could make a cheer squad, but be removed after the fourth quarter grades are posted if she is not academically eligible.
